Relaxing, non-invasive therapy.
Experience similar to a spa treatment for eyes. Completely painless, no side effects and immediate recovery.
IPL + LLLT for Meibomian glands.
The synergistic combination of two cutting-edge technologies stimulates the lipid-producing glands and reduces chronic inflammation.
Visible improvement after the first sessions.
Patients notice significant improvement in symptoms: less burning, redness and gritty sensation in the eyes.
What is dry eye syndrome?
Dry eye syndrome occurs when tears do not sufficiently lubricate the ocular surface. It can be caused by insufficient tear production or rapid evaporation due to Meibomian gland dysfunction. Symptoms include burning, redness, gritty sensation, eye fatigue and, paradoxically, excessive tearing as a compensatory response.
Why do dry eyes occur?
- Prolonged screen exposure (computer, phone)
- Air conditioning or excessive heating
- Prolonged contact lens wear
- Hormonal factors (more common in women)
- Certain medications (antihistamines, antidepressants)
- Autoimmune diseases or eyelid conditions
How to recognize dry eyes?
- Burning or stinging sensation
- Redness and eye irritation
- Foreign body or gritty sensation in eyes
- Temporary blurred vision
- Eye fatigue, especially in the evening
- Paradoxical excessive tearing
Synergistic technologies for eye comfort
The combination of IPL and LLLT offers a complete approach to treating dry eye syndrome, addressing both causes and symptoms.
IPL - Intense Pulsed Light
OPE-IPL® technology calibrated for eyes – the only IPL lamp that doesn't require gel. Precise thermal pulses heat Meibomian gland secretions, improve circulation and reduce inflammation. The procedure takes just minutes, and the biological effect continues for hours to days.
LLLT - Photobiomodulation
Low-Level Light Therapy generates gentle endogenous warming, facilitates lipid component release and has anti-inflammatory effects. Red and blue masks offer complementary benefits.
VisionSPA® Procedures
The OPE-IPL® lamp (Optimal Power Energy-Intense Pulsed Light) uses medical-grade IPL technology calibrated specifically for eyes – it's the only IPL lamp in the world that can be applied without gel, thanks to an innovative thermal filter that keeps the temperature low during application. OPE-IPL® offers the largest treatment surface area.
The light acts in milliseconds, with a few pulses for each eye. The pulses generate precise thermal energy that heats Meibomian gland secretions, improves vascular circulation and reduces inflammation at the eyelid level.
A biological effect is triggered that continues for hours to days after the session. Usually, 3-5 sessions are needed, at 7-14 day intervals.
The LLLT red mask provides gentle and uniform warming of the eyelids, stimulating blood circulation and natural lipid secretion. Red light penetrates tissues and activates cellular regeneration processes.
The treatment is extremely relaxing, with patients describing a pleasant sensation of warmth. Ideal for Meibomian gland dysfunction and evaporative dry eye.
The LLLT blue mask has powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. Blue light reduces bacterial colonization and calms chronic inflammation associated with blepharitis and ocular rosacea.
It is especially recommended for patients with blepharitis, ocular rosacea, or recurrent eyelid margin infections. It can be combined with the red mask for synergistic effects.
The DEA 520 Pro Dry Eye+ investigation provides a complete analysis of dry eye syndrome: tear film evaluation, Meibomian gland function, corneal surface analysis and tear break-up time measurement.
The results allow the doctor to personalize treatment and monitor progress. It is recommended before starting VisionSPA® therapy to establish an optimal treatment plan.

Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about VisionSPA® treatment
Dry eye syndrome is a condition of the ocular surface caused by quantitatively insufficient or poor quality tears. The tear film fails to lubricate and protect the eye, leading to discomfort, irritation and sometimes vision problems.
Excessive tearing is often a compensatory reflex response to poor quality tear film. Reflex tears are predominantly watery and do not contain enough lipid component to prevent evaporation. Thus, although the eyes water, the ocular surface remains unprotected.
No, the treatment is completely non-invasive and painless. Most patients describe the experience as relaxing and pleasant, similar to a spa treatment for the eyes. You may feel gentle warmth in the treated area, but there is no discomfort.
The number of sessions varies depending on the severity of the condition and individual response to treatment. Usually, 3-5 sessions are recommended for optimal results. The ophthalmologist will establish the personalized plan after the initial evaluation.
Improvements are visible within a few weeks after treatment and the effects are maintained long-term. To maintain optimal results, periodic maintenance sessions may be needed, depending on the doctor's recommendation.
In the first 24–48 hours: avoid sun exposure and heat; no eye makeup; artificial tears are recommended. Normal visual activities are permitted.
Long-term, it is important to follow the doctor's recommendations: regular eyelid hygiene, applying warm compresses if indicated and using prescribed artificial tears. Regular check-ups are essential for monitoring progress.
