At the last consultation, after numerous measurements, it was explained to me that the intervention is possible. I was not the easiest case: large diopters and thin cornea, and Dr. Monica Apostolescu explained to me both the benefits and the limitations of such an intervention in my case, the final decision being mine. The calmness, professionalism, common sense and warmth with which I was treated gave me the confidence to move forward.
I was recommended the Smile Pro procedure for quick recovery and return to daily activities as quickly as possible. The fact that everything was explained to me in detail gave me even more confidence.
On the day of the intervention, the whole team made sure they understood all the steps. Although I knew how little the procedure takes, it seemed even shorter: about 10 seconds for each eye, the laser did its job, then the lady doctor intervened for another 1-2 minutes. In about an hour and a half I left the clinic without glasses, with all the necessary treatments for the next period and with clear indications for recovery.
I'm still in recovery, I haven't had any pain so far and my vision, which is still adjusting, is getting clearer every day.

I wore glasses since I was little, more precisely since I was 23 years old, my diopters oscillating between 4.75 - 3.50. It was explained to me what the chances of a better vision could be and I did not hesitate. I can say that after the operation I can even see better than I could see before with glasses. The doctor is a professional. During the operation, I did not feel pain, and the doctors around me continuously made sure that I was calm so that everything would go well. About an hour after the operation, I felt a sting that lasted for 3 hours, but it is a normal discomfort resulting from the operation.
