I went to verify if my eyes could be lasered to avoid wearing glasses/contacts and chose ReLEx SMILE ZEISS after getting all a very clear explanation of the advantages/disadvantages. After the operation that was painless, I could directly see. After two hours of tearing I had no further discomfort (no redness,dryness, tearing). The next day I had perfect vision, which was confirmed by the check-up.

The consultation lasts 20-30 minutes and includes: discussion about symptoms and medical history, visual acuity and diopter measurement, biomicroscope examination of the anterior segment (cornea, lens), intraocular pressure measurement, dilated fundus examination (when necessary), diagnosis and treatment plan or recommendations for additional investigations.
20-30 minutes for the consultation itself. After administering drops that dilate the pupil for fundus examination, the time may sometimes increase by another 15-20 minutes.
Yes, it is very helpful. The doctor can check if the current prescription is correct and if the glasses are properly centered. Also bring your contact lenses if you wear them.
If your pupils are dilated for fundus examination, vision will be blurred for 3-4 hours and driving is not recommended. Come accompanied or use alternative transportation. Dilation is not necessary in all cases.
